First trip - Day 2

 On our way to Paris
In Paris, waiting to get onto our flight to Andrei's country
Finally!  We arrived around 2pm.

Altogether Doug and I travelled a full 24 hours which also included layovers to get to Sofia, the capital of B&^%ria.  We were so exhausted that we had to nap about an hour and half upon arriving to our hotel so that we would have enough energy to stay awake that evening to ensure that we would sleep all night.  Fortunately, due to being so tired, we were able to sleep all night and woke up around 6am to get up for breakfast that was provided for free by our hotel.  By the way, we stayed at the Dedeman hotel which is also known as Princess Sofia.  We would meet with our driver/translator later on at 1pm as it takes 5 hours to drive to Targovishte.  We were so happy to hear this because it meant we would get to meet our son in the morning.  The drive to Targovishte was pretty calm until we got into the mountains and by then I had to play on the ipad as I started to feel a bit queasy.  We stayed at the Hotel Idol, which was a fabulous hotel and would highly recommend that to anyone who goes to Targovishte.   More to come in another post
